- Is this battery the manufacturers replacement for the C&D UPS12-270? Yes, the UPS12-300MR is the manufacturers replacement for the UPS12-270 by C&D Technologies which has now been discontinued. The UPS12-300MR battery provides an increase in available power within the same box size as the previous battery, and also includes insert style terminals enabling a ‘one tool’ terminal connection ensuring ease of installation.
